With 1800 feet of mainline, there is always track work to do! Tamping and aligning, tie replacement, and checking the more than 360 pairs of joint bars, each with 4 nuts and bolts that work loose, are just some of the regular maintenance projects the railroad requires to maintain optimal operating conditions. No expertise is necessary: we are more than happy to show you how!

Train Shows
Each winter, find us at the Lincoln Train Show (trains running) and Council Bluffs Train Show (display only). Catch up with us in the off-season, and talk trains. See Schedule for dates, times and locations Note: in 2024 the Lincoln train show will occur as normal in February, but the Omaha/Council Bluffs train show will not be happening (again).
